Managed IT support for Cape Town businesses
One number to call when something breaks, a fixed monthly cost per user, and someone who already knows how your systems are set up.
Calling a different technician every time something goes wrong is expensive in a way that never shows up on an invoice. Each one has to learn your setup from scratch, nobody keeps records, and the same problem gets fixed three different ways. Six months later nobody knows why anything is configured the way it is.
Managed support replaces that with a standing arrangement: we know your environment, we keep documentation, and we fix things before they become urgent. You pay a fixed amount per user per month, so support stops being a series of surprise bills and becomes a predictable line item.
We support businesses running Microsoft 365, Windows desktops and laptops, and the mix of network equipment, phones and cameras that accumulates in a growing company. If we installed your network, your phones or your cameras, we already have the documentation — which means faults get resolved considerably faster.
Scope
What monthly support covers
- Helpdesk by phone, WhatsApp and email during business hours.
- Remote support for most day-to-day issues, with on-site visits when the problem needs hands.
- Microsoft 365 administration — mailboxes, licences, shared drives, permissions, security settings.
- User onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, device prep and safe account closure when staff leave.
- Patching and updates kept current across Windows machines.
- Backup monitoring with regular restore checks — an untested backup is not a backup.
- Endpoint security deployed and monitored across devices.
- Asset register so you know what hardware you own, how old it is and what it is running.

How the job runs
What happens, in order
Discovery
We audit what you are running — devices, licences, servers, network gear, backups — and produce a written picture of the current state, including anything that is a risk.
Fix the urgent items
Anything genuinely dangerous gets addressed first: unpatched machines, missing backups, shared admin passwords, ex-staff accounts still active.
Set the baseline
We standardise the environment so every machine is set up the same way. This is what makes support fast rather than exploratory.
Monthly support begins
Fixed cost per user. You call, WhatsApp or email; we resolve remotely where we can and come on site where we cannot.
Quarterly review
We sit down with the numbers — what broke, what it cost, what is ageing out — so hardware replacement is planned rather than reactive.
Worth knowing
Device supply and setup
We supply business laptops and desktops and set them up before delivery — joined to your Microsoft 365 tenant, security configured, software installed, data migrated from the old machine. The user gets a working device rather than a box and an afternoon of frustration.
Buying business-grade hardware rather than consumer models is worth the difference. Business ranges carry longer warranties, on-site warranty service in South Africa, and considerably better build quality in the parts that fail first: hinges, keyboards and charging ports. We will tell you when the cheaper machine is genuinely fine, because sometimes it is.
Common questions
Before you call
How is managed IT support priced?
Per user, per month, based on how many people you have and what is included. That gives you a predictable monthly figure instead of unpredictable call-out bills.
Do you support Apple Macs?
We primarily support Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. We can support Macs in a mixed environment, but a Mac-only business would be better served by a Mac specialist — and we will say so.
What if I already have an IT person?
That is common. We often work alongside an internal person, handling the infrastructure, phones, network and after-hours cover while they handle day-to-day user support.
Are you locked into a long contract?
Support runs month to month with a notice period. We would rather keep clients because the service works than because they are contractually stuck.
Can you help if my business has no IT setup at all?
Yes, and that is often the easiest starting point. Setting things up properly from scratch is considerably cheaper than untangling years of ad hoc fixes.
